Secrets Oregon Secretary of State, Multnomah County Elections Director and the FBI kept included two security men being at the Ballot Drop Box when the arsonist drove up on October 28, 2024. Citizens wondered why the next day Elections had no worries that the guy who struck three times would never strike again. Another secret: All ballots from the drop boxes went first to a secret location instead of delivering them directly to the Elections Office.

The FBI would not release the video footage five minutes before and ten minutes after the event. Eighteen seconds into the video two security guards are seen close to the box. The man in the car saw them. Security then retreats. Twenty-nine seconds in, the car backs up and repositions the car closer to the Ballot Drop Box. One minute later he lights the incendiary device and appears to place it outside on the box. 2:55 the security men return, but do not go closer to the box, but walk away again. The reason they have a description of the arsonist is from security having seen him, but the FBI nor the Secretary of State nor Multnomah County Elections director said, 'Oh, yeah our Election Security guys saw the guy pull up.'

Why was that kept a secret not only in the beginning, but when FBI released the video on November 13, 2024, they did not share that that two Multnomah County Elections Security men were at the box when the guy drove up. And why in the world would the FBI take so long to release the video and why didn't they do an ODOT Alert? Why wasn't FBI worried that the guy could strike again?

Inquiring minds want to know and they want to know why Portland media didn't notice the security guys in the video, and ask that question an alert reader commented on their website?

The first Portland media news about the event threw shade on Donald J. Trump supporters. Then all of a sudden The New York Times had an article of it being a pro-HAMAS person per what was written on the device. No photo of that device is on the FBI website.

What is striking about this event is the utter lack of any concern that this guy who attacked three times might attack again; and that he could easily burn down seven buildings in Multnomah County at the library locations where ballots are dropped into slots going directly into the buildings as well as the Election building where this attacked happened October 28th.

Are these secrets kept to hide incompetence or something more nefarious?  In addition, to this secret, Multnomah County Elections took all drop box ballots to a secret location in Multnomah County first before delivering them to the Elections office. Observers were not allowed to observe at that hidden location. Secrets cause distrust of government agencies.
