In record time Oregonians, a quarter million Oregonians, in less than a month, signed the "Say NO to Gas Tax Hikes" petitions.
First 10 days brought in over 100,000 signatures. 193,987 delivered to the Secretary of State on December 12th.
If Tina, the current governor of Oregon, hadn't tried to sabotage all Oregonians by cutting the 90 day time for getting petitions signed, down to only about 40 days, the number may, ultimately, have reached ONE MILLION signatures.
Gift wrapped boxes were put into a locked shelving cage and into the SOS back office, not to be touched until two observers from "No Tax Oregon" are on site to observe the review of a random number of petitions which is set to start December 15th.We, the People of Oregon are wondering why the Portland Media put out scare tactics on the reporting of this story?
Since PDX media are friends with Tina Kotek did they collaborate with her about doing scare tactics, giving an impression ODOT won't be out keeping Portland streets safe this winter? Inquiring minds want to know. Or did "national" tell them to do that? A KOIN employee told TPNW that they "...can only put on what is approved by national..." Nextstar Media Group owns KOIN. Affiliated with CBS.
From KOIN on November 26, 2025, the station reported Tina was trying to stop citizens from even signing the petition, by threatening lives would be put in danger.
Tina needs to see real "lives in danger", and walk around downtown
Portland where lives are in danger daily (instead of doing her theater pieces
on a bright sunny day on the Broadway Bridge), see people hanging down like
zombies or overdosed citizens crumpled on the streets, too many times dying. Kevin Dahlgren whose been working, saving lives at times, has been documenting
this history for 30 years. Kevin can give Tina tour. https://truthonthestreets.substack.com/p/the-portland-illusion
Where Tina stood versus where the homeless are dying on the streets of Portland, Oregon.
Happy Oregonians delivering Christmas presents to all Oregonians at the Oregon Secretary of State's office on December 12th.
