OREGON GOVERNOR KATE BROWN HIDES INFORMATION
INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW WHY BROWN’S EXECUTIVE ORDERS ARE HARD TO FIND AND HARD TO READ
Truth in the Pacific Northwest sent off to the Governor’s office a note. Waiting for a reply or a change in transparency on Governor Kate Brown’s website related to her Executive Orders (EOs).
Brown’s EOs listed on her website, if citizens find them by going on a scavenger hunt, her EOs do not have dates and page numbers. EOs have no links to LAW or subsections of LAW. Citizens cannot copy them. Citizens cannot screenshot them. There is no separate list of which EOs were rescinded.
Some see this as gaslighting. Making mush of the regular citizen’s attempt to find and understand government actions. The governor’s webpages on executive orders violates the Oregon State Constitution Article IV Section 21. The government “shall plainly word” government acts. Government actions including Executive Orders.
Suggestions were sent to correct these government errors.
If Oregon
Governor Kate Brown's words put to paper on her executive orders are obtuse (
dictionary: “difficult
to comprehend : not clear or precise in thought or expression. It is also, unfortunately, ill-written,
and at times obtuse and
often trivial”) more and more citizens feel like this:
Will Kate Brown and her administrative state assistants make the requested suggestions?
In November 2021 one could still screenshot from her executive orders. Today. Nope.
